Chain of Authorisation

The patents have been granted to Paul Croall^*1.

Paul Croall therefore holds licencing authority.

The licence is to authorise use-of^*2 the specified patent and software

The granting of a licence in no way means or implies transfer of the underlying ownership of the patent(s) or copyright of the reference implementations.

The software is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to the warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and noninfringement. In no event shall the patent holder, licencing authorities or developers of the reference implementations be liable for any claim, damages or other liability, whether in an action of contract, tort or otherwise, arising from, out of or in connection with the software, patent or the use or other dealings in the software or patent.

uDMIP – undisclosed DNA Message Interoperability Pact

By use of the licence grant, any of the Undisclosed patents or related software, the licensee or user agrees to be part of uDMIP [undisclosed DNA Messaging Interoperability Pact] & as such, if they provide a uDNA SMTP mail server service, or equivalent, they will accept & forward in-date correctly eStamped messages, whether the eStamp was issued by themselves or another uDMIP member. They also agree that they will not accept, nor forward, uDNA Messages which have not been correctly eStamped. The definition of correctly eStamped will be defined in code, in the form of a uDMIP key, and occasionally be updated by the licencing authority.

Technology Re-sale

The licencee will be authorized to sell or provide under a software as a service agreement the GenRef class of reference editions, modified or otherwise. The licencees customers will need will not need to be granted an additional licence by the Undisclosed DNA licencing authority.

3rd party verification

The proposed licencee does does not request a unique verification URL https://u.dna.earth/, clarifying their licenced rights to 3rd parties who wish to ensure that they are not infringing.
