Undisclosed DNA is essentially based on the philosophy that every person has the right to use their own personal DNA sequence to find family, who wish to be found.

The 'Mission Statement' is "Empower and Protect"
[2] and it is clear from this that Undisclosed DNA aims to restore correct ownership and control of each person's own DNA, and protect our DNA from misuse and exposure. Undisclosed DNA believes that, because DNA holds our most intimate medical details, every person's own personal DNA sequence is that person's own private property. They also believe that in order to find family members through the use of DNA, people should not have to sacrifice the privacy of their personal DNA sequence.
