Thought Experiment |
How do I know that my genetic address can’t be reverse engineered back into my sequenced DNA? |
If G + C + A + T + X + Y = 97 |
What is X ? |
Or G or C or A or T or Y For that matter |
Or don't we have enough information ? |
Yer think ?! |
This is why it is impossible to reverse engineed the genetic address back into the DNA from which it came |
The 1,000 number thought experiment |
Imagine a list of 1,000 SECRET numbers |
Add all those numbers up |
Tell the cleverest untrusted Hacker in the world the resultant sum |
Now have the Hacker work out the original SECRET list |
If the sum is 1,234,567 what 1,000 numbers were added together ? |
It's impossible to work that out, for exactly the same reason it's impossible to reverse engineed the genetic address back into the DNA from which it came. |
